Cross Strung Caitlin Harp

Featuring 38 DuPont hard nylon strings, a range from C below Middle C to High C, 3 octave cross strung harp, no sharpening levers, solid rosewood frame and a plywood soundboard for exceptional sound and strength. French Gothic Lap Harp           

This is an authentic diatonic gothic harp, designed by The Early Music Shop, U.K., from iconographical examples of the French Gothic Harps. Made in Pakistan, the body, arm and pillar are Rosewood and the soundboard is spruce. There are 19 Dupont™ Nylon stings. Unlike modern harps, the gothic harp is not strung from the back. Each string is held into the soundboard by tension and a small button topped peg. This is a non-standing lap harp with delicate lines. The gracile arm and pillar are accented with fluid curves. You will love this little beauty. 32 inches long by 15 inches deep. The base of the resonator is 5 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep.

Heather Harp                      

This is a Celtic style harp.  Made in Pakistan, approximately 36" high. Featuring 22 DuPont hard nylon strings, a range from C below Middle C to High C, 22 sharpening levers, engraved and inlaid rosewood frame and a plywood soundboard for exceptional sound and strength.  Lever, or folk, harps have  mechanisms used to change keys. These levers are attached to the harp and push against the strings to make them shorter and thus sharpen the string.
