VS-650 Violin with case and bow
This outfit is perfect for the student and it meets all EMNC specs.
The VS-650 violin is meticulously hand carved from solid spruce and maple. The back and sides are painstakingly graduated to the perfect thickness to give you a violin with superb tonal properties. The violin is then finished in a beautiful golden brown varnish. Fittings are made of South African ebony to ensure that the fingerboard is straight and the pegs are easy to turn. It includes a deluxe fine tuner tailpiece that allows for trouble free tuning. The violin comes with a wood hardshell case, and an ebony frog bow with Mongolian horsehair.

Medieval
Rebec
Dating from the 12th Century, the 3 string Rebec is an early pre-cursor to
the fiddle. Originally a courtly instrument, they were gradually
replaced by more sophisticated stringed instruments like the violin and
became more of an instrument of the street musicians and public houses.
A 1628 Parisian ordinance forbade violins in the public houses, allowing
only rebecs.
Made in Pakistan, this rebec has 3 gut
strings with bow and hard case. Tuning is G below Mid C, D above Mid C, A above
Mid C. Rosin for bow sold
separately.
