Minstrel Tack Head Banjo
If you prefer the minstrel look, then the wooden hoop open back tack head style is your choice. Deer rawhide is tightly stretched & tacked in place over a steam bent wooden hoop approx. 11 inches in diameter. 

Comes strung with Nylagut Minstrel strings.

    Plain straight sided neck ............. $380.00 + S&H
     (For a carved "ogee" neck add $25.00)

Gourd Banjo
If you like an older style banjo, then this is your choice.  The volume is comparable to the minstrel banjo, but the gourd banjos have a deeper, more resonant tone.
The gourds vary from 8 1/2" to 11" in diameter.  We usually put one or more sound holes in the gourds to assist with sound projection. 

Comes strung with Nylagut Minstrel strings.
 

   With Plain straight sided neck .........$260.00 + S&H
    (For a carved "ogee" neck add $25.00)

 

Note: On a straight un-carved neck the default position for the short string tuning peg is 7th fret.  (If you prefer 5th position, please let us know.) For the ogee carved neck the peg position is 5th fret.  We are currently using eastern maple for the necks.

 

The scroll shaped peg head is an extra $30.00. Illustration is not to scale and only approximate.  Please reference photographs for a more accurate representation.


The Carved Out Peg Box Option is $50.00 extra.


All other styles carry no additional charge.

Shipping and Handling

S&H is  $38.00 for mainland USA (includes insurance)

(S&H to Belgium, Great Britain or Ireland is $68.00 and takes about 8 to 10 days)

International Orders are sent by US Post.  For most European countries, DHL is the carrier who has the contract with the US Post Office to complete the delivery.   UPS will not deliver to residential addresses in Europe.

*Using PayPal

To accommodate my international customers, we can accept PayPal.  Once you have decided upon the banjo you would like, plus optional features if any, confirm with me by email.  Once I have confirmation of your order and I have confirmed shipping costs, I will send you an invoice via PayPal in US$.  You can then pay through any accepted credit card or through your PayPal account if you have one. (Using PayPal for international orders incurs an additional $10.00 surcharge.  PayPal is convenient, but they charge for that convenience.  To avoid the surcharge, I also accept international money orders and personal checks made out in US dollars.)

PayPal will accept payment in your currency equivalent to the US dollar amount.  If you have a MasterCard or Visa, I can bill your card in $US the same as domestic orders and your charge card will do the currency conversion when they bill you.

 PayPal may also be used for domestic orders.  The same $10.00 surcharge applies.
